A real cat. Actually shipped.

MarsCat is the world's first bionic pet cat, built by Elephant Robotics, the Shenzhen robotics company behind the myCobot arms, and funded on Kickstarter in 2020. It walks, runs, sleeps, sits, stretches, bites its nails and kneads. It also buries litter. There is no litter. It does it anyway.

It is fully autonomous: it recognises your face, hears your voice, feels your touch and grows a personality from how you treat it, all on a brain the size of a credit card. $MarsCat is the unofficial community token for people who think a robot cat with moods deserves a chart. The cat has not been informed.

Inside the cat: a quad-core Raspberry Pi 3B with 1 GB of RAM, an ATMega2560 driving sixteen servos, and an SDK that talks Python and Scratch 3.0. Everything it senses runs through an on-device AI loop, see, hear, feel, decide, act, with no cloud in between. The whole brain is on GitHub. Fork it. The cat already has more commits than you.
